Hiking in my New Hometown

There’s a regional park just a mile away from our new home. During the spring it’s lush with green grass and cows grazing within arm’s reach of the trails. This was Russell’s home field during his high school cross-country days. I’ve run the hills a few times and it’s pretty painful though the views up top are rewarding. Last weekend we went for a leisurely walk with our friend Alex. I’m getting used to the idea of this city being my new home town. I still have occasional pangs for New York but I’m glad to be here.
