Cool Gray City of Love Walk: Corona Heights and Buena Vista Park

I’ve been inspired by Gary Kamiya’s book Cool Gray City of Love to walk every city block of San Francisco. Some areas I’ve walked over a hundred times in my routine way, but there are all sorts of nooks and crannies in San Francisco that I’d never explore without this goal.

I’m starting at the center of the city and spiraling out. Corona Heights, with its 360 vantage point of the city, seemed like a good place as any to start.

We walked around the surrounding neighborhood and through Buena Vista Park. So much house envy!

Where’s that red door supposed to lead to?

Great walk, Kimmy agrees.

  1. Sometimes it’s so hard to capture what you actually see, but those are some great photos! The outdoor mimosas and accidental hamburgers (I think we were originally looking at the salads…) were a great reward!

  2. Such eclectic homes! It’s true that you never would have noticed that red door if you were driving in a car! Good job!
