A Day in Sonoma County

Can’t get much more California than this day I recently spent in Sonoma County for a good friend’s birthday. On a sunny and warm Sunday afternoon, we went to a holistic day spa, to Whole Foods (twice) for picnic provisions, hiked, did a wine tasting, then had dinner at a vegan, gluten-free restaurant. So different from what I was doing in New York last year at this time, most likely freezing in the cold, boozy brunching then shopping around Soho. I’m glad to partake in either option, really.
