A cozy, well-worn chair.

Office Reading Nooks

Really, you can make a nook out of anything as long as you have space to get cozy with your book. The Harper Imprint blog has a whole collection of office reading nooks.

Milk Toof

Or you can build a temporary fort for some private reading time. I love this blog, and you should really check out the entire post to see the ingenuity of the artist’s milk toof creations.

And lastly, this was my reading nook at my last apartment. I can’t tell you how many years of reading I’ve done in papasans over the years.

Happy reading~!

  1. That chair looks perfect for any configuration of the-body-while-reading. I’m a bed reader but have been dreaming of constructing a window seat in my apartment since I moved in. One day.

    • I’d love a window reading spot, seriously, I fantasize about having a bay window with lots of light and fluffy pillows. My current apartment only has tiny windows facing air shafts, and one real window in the kitchen that’s barred up to prevent burglars from coming in through the fire escape. Sad.
