Friday Links: Future of Print, Amazon, Clutches and More

by Erynn

This week I’ve been utterly consumed by this book. I read it in the morning, at night, I’ll take whatever time I can get to squeeze in a few more pages to figure out just what the heck is happening. It’s been a while since I’ve felt this kind of compulsive reading. I can’t wait to finish it this weekend.

Book links from around the web this week (click on links or images for sources):

This video came out back in April, but I didn’t have a blog back then, so I’d like to share it with you now.  The audio’s a bit messy, but the content is pitch perfect.

Wow, look at what Amazon used to look like when it first launched.

How to make your book into a clutch purse.

Great quote. Great blog.

Do you guys know about the Pioneer Woman? I wrote about her cookbooks here. But did you know she’s also a children’s book author? She blogged about her new book earlier this week.

That’s all for now. What will you be reading this weekend? Hope it’s a good one!

  1. I just started reading French Kids Eat Everything (which I’m strangely addicted to and can’t get enough of) but now I want to get my hands on the book that YOU can’t put down – Gone Girl. The cooler weather is making me crave more reading time and I can’t wait to miss my bus stop/sneak breaks at work/stay up til 4am because I’ll be so into Gone Girl! Thank you for all your fab recommendations!

  2. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your site.
It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and
visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme?
    Fantastic work!
